Come and learn about the fascinating world of learning American Sign Language/ASL through the eyes of a young child. You will learn about the truth to the common misconceptions of ASL, how ASL is processed in the brain, ASL developmental milestones, babbling in ASL, typical child sign approximations, and strategies to teach ASL with young children. We will share resources including technology resources (websites, Youtube Channel, Apps, Videoemail etc) to support learning ASL and communication through ASL.
